I am writing to inform you of the joy your craftsmanship has brought to my father.
Upon receiving his hat in the original packaging on Christmas day, he proceeded to admire and inspect its soft golden sheen and crisp weave in the light for a full minute or so prior to finally donning it, where it fit absolutely perfectly. The Fedora shape was stellar and gave truth to the saying “the hat makes the man.” After seeing how dapper my father looked in that hat, I admit to no small amount of envy and began to rationalize a purchase for myself.
My father wore the hat for another 10 minutes or so, stepping often to the mirror to admire it. He then (nigh relevantly) placed it back in its box for safety. However, it did not long stay there, as the next day he took it out for a walk “to give it some air.” He wore it several times 
over the next few days while my parents stayed with us over the holidays. I was informed through email that upon returning home he continued to make certain the hat was “not lonely” and took it out on walks. My mother informed us that we really hit this one out of the park and she hasn’t seen my father this excited and joyful over a gift in a very long time.
My father wrote a thank you note later, where he was kind enough to inform us that our 21 month old son would not be allowed to touch the hat for another 13 years. I guess he will have something to look forward to then.
Once again, thank you very much for your professionalism and goal of keeping this wonderful craft alive. It is amazing how much joy a “simple” woven hat can bring.
