Full disclosure: I made up the name. As far as I know there is no Hula Beach – and I lived in Hawaii for thirty years – but it is a good name: short, familiar, and suggestive of fun and maybe a little adventure. You could wear one while doing the hula, on a beach, or, for the truly ambitious, doing the hula on a beach. None of that is required – it is just as happy by the pool, or out on a golf course, where you have honestly never seen a more enviable hat. This is the Island Style version, woven in an open lattice so the breeze moves right through. Decide to wear a Hula Beach, and you had better get comfortable with being envied.
