Bogart, Bacall, palm trees, Panama hats – Key Largo had it all. Funny thing: the standout fedora in that film rode on a bit player called Toots, and I always felt the hat deserved top billing. So I made my own version. It takes the silhouette of my Montego Bay Fedora and adds one signature touch – a ridge pressed up each side and around the back, opening a touch wider at the front, just as it should. Call it a hat that behaves far better in the bar than in the hurricane.
